RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
RETURN POLICY (excluding Illumiflaps)
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and if we will provide you with the address on where to send your defective or damaged item.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
To return your product, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with the address to send your item back to us.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Illumiflaps Return Policy
For the reason that our Illumiflaps are all custom ordered for each individual, we are unable to accept returns. Unless there is a manufacturing defect on the construction of the Illumiflaps within the first 6 months or if there is a defect with the LEDs within the first 30 days, we can not accept returns. For warranty questions please refer to our limited warranty below.

ILLUMIFLAPS LIMITED WARRANTY
Frigid North Customs, LLC (“Frigid North” or “the Company”) provides the following limited warranty for all mud flap products created by the Company.
Frigid North warrants that the product is free of defects in material or workmanship under normal use for a period of 180 days for the mud flap material and a period of 30 days for the lights incorporated into the mud flap. The Company’s obligation is limited to repairing or replacing a defective part. The warranty does not extend to any product or part that is not installed and used in accordance with normal and anticipated use, the Company’s installation and/or use instructions, and all applicable local, state, and national regulations, if any. The Company shall have no obligation related to the warranty where any product or part has been damaged by accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect. The company shall also have no obligation where the consumer has modified, altered, or repaired the product. The warranty shall only apply to the original purchaser of the product and the purchaser seeking repair or replacement must provide the Company with proof of purchase from the Company or its agents.
When a customer contends that a product or part is defective, he or she shall send the product, with postage pre-paid, to the Company’s listed address on its website and provide a written explanation of the defect and consumer’s use of the product or part. The consumer shall communicate with the Company regarding any questions the Company may have as part of its review process. If the Company determines the product or part to be defective and subject to the warranty described herein, it will repair or replace the defective part, which shall be the Company’s only responsibility as described above.
Frigid North makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No Frigid North representative or employee is authorized to make any modification or addition to this warranty.
Frigid North’s liability is expressly limited to the costs of material for repair or replacement of defective goods. In no event shall Frigid North be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the consumer’s use of the product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty may last or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not be applicable to consumers in some states.
Frigid North shall not be liable for, and the consumer assumes liability for, any personal injury or property damage connected with the handling, transportation, installation, use, or resale of the Company’s products or parts, whether used alone or in combination with any other product or material. The Company recommends installation by a competent automotive professional. Should the consumer have any question regarding installation or use, the Company recommends that the consumer consult with a competent automotive professional. If Frigid North furnishes technical advice to the consumer regarding installation, application, or use of the product or parts, the Company shall not be liable for such technical advice and the consumer assumes all risks related thereto.
This limited warranty and limitation of liability shall be severable and all portions not stricken by applicable law shall remain in full force.
